La culture des armes

I’m going to talk about the notion seats and forms of power. The power is the ability to exercise a control about somebody, but leads generally to conflict between those who have power and those who don't have. To illustrate this notion, I will concentrate mainly on the Gun culture. We can answer the question: Should firearms be banned in the United States? To start I would give the definition of Gun culture, then I would speak of two cases study in class for the gun culture and finally I will talk about the many massacres that took place in the United States.  

The term Gun culture in the United States encompasses the behaviors, attitudes and beliefs about firearms and their usage by civilians. The first case that I chose is Brady Campaign. It’s a poster denounces gun violence in the United States because they are the only western country with so many casualties linked to firearms. It’s too an awareness campaign to prevent gun violence. The United States want sensible new laws to be able to fight against this existing violence. The second case that I chose is the second amendment. It’s said that a well-regulated militia being necessary for the security of the United States, the right of the people, no guard and carrying weapons.

Today in the United States it’s easy to get firearms. Many killings were carried out, especially in schools like that in Colorado. Indeed, as we have seen in class, many schools have been subjected to slaughters. The students of these schools live with a constant fear of getting attacked while they should feel safe in their own schools. This question also raises the question of the sale of firearms in the country because it is true that weapons are available to everyone, even for teenagers.

So we have many examples of mass shootings in the United States such as the slaughter in one school on the Colorado or a preview of the movie "The Dark Knight Rises" that were tragic events for America.

To conclude, we can say that in America, there exist more different forms of power. The arms can be a form of power, with the guns and nuclears arms. But there is too the power of death over life. According to me we should be prudent about the using of this arms, and do not use too always.
