- ‘Amalgamate’, verb
Synonyms: Blend, fuse.
Definitions: When two or more companies combine together to form one big organisation.
Translation: Fusionner.
Example: To be more efficient and worldwide known, these two companies should amalgamate.
- ‘Barista’, noun
Synonyms: Barman, barmaid.
Definitions: A person, behind a counter, who sells and make coffee (especially expresso) to the public.
Translation: Bariste.
Example: This little coffee shop has the best barista in town!
- ‘Coercion’, noun
Synonyms: Compulsion, pressure.
Definitions: The act of coercing; to force someone, by any method, to do something against their will.
Translation: Contrainte.
Example: Her first time with him wasn’t going to be the product of coercion, because he respected her way too much.
- ‘Disclosure’, noun
Synonyms: Announcement, relevation
Definitions: To make something known, revealed (usually some information).
Translation: Divulgation, revelation, divulguer
Example: I demand a full disclosure of the hidden document.
- ‘E-Zine’, noun
Synonyms: Electronic magazine, webzine, web magazine.
Definitions: A magazine, only available in electronic form, published on the Internet or by E-mail.
Translation: Magazine électronique.
Example: We are thrilled to announce our new e-zine, only available on our website.
