Presentation:

We are a French delicatessen with imported products such as cheese, wine and frogs on the seaside in Barcelona to eat in or take away.

People often ask me why I opened a French delicatessen

- wide variety of local products in France which are recognized in the entire world

- Moreover, it’s more attractive to import from France to Spain because of the distance and the fact that we are neighbours

- The advantages of the EU free trade

- Barcelona welcomes many French tourists

First, Spain is a country where I do not feel that I am working. It’s always holidays and the people are not under pressure.

- the restauration industry is blooming there thanks to tourism: tourists are coming from all over the world to Barcelona.

- Tourists are coming to Barcelona most of the time to party, that’s why I opened my business next to a nightclub and start work early in the morning to have the people coming after their night out.

- During the touristic season, I’m opened all day and night and when it’s Winter, I only open during the night.

- The price of labour is cheap and affordable when compared to France

- Already being French we are aware of the European laws also concerning Spain

- Commercial rent prices are lower than what you can find in a touristic area in France

- The Barcelonan tourists are generally wealthy and come to spend money.

STRUCTURE:

- Entrepreneurships can be cost-effective because I manage everything

- I am more effective and I do not lose to time to take a decision: time is money!

- Matt’s Business Plan: target students, tourist and families but for students my prices are too expensive and I am planning to open a new business with more globalized food and tapas. And why not some other products from the countries surrounding Spain and Ice creams which would be cheap to smash the concurrence.

- I thinking about opening guestrooms to develop my businesses

- I am not thinking to have this success in France because of the taxes and the fact that the idea is already exploited. In the other hand it would be interesting to open the same business in Italy.
