Seats and power.

I will talk about the idea of seats of power. To begin with, I´d like to define the notion : the power is the ability or official capacity to exert control over others and their behavior, events or resources. Places of power can be important building or entities that represent a certain kind of power. Nowadays the social media have a kind of power over the society, in order to illustrated the notion I will going to try to answer the following question which is : Did the medias have power over us ?

To explain this We are going to see how the medias of communication have evolving within time and then we will see the negative power exerted on us the medias.

First of all the different medias of communication have change over time thanks of the technological evolution. At the beginning the newspaper was powerful because for a long time it was the only way to communicated information to the society, it was very successful because everyone can find it everywhere and it wasn't expensive.

Then the radio was created. Even if this creation wasn't accessible to everyone because you must to buy a radio, it was very practical and had a lot of success because you could listen to the radio everywhere and all the time. The people got reunited to listen to it, or they could do it in their home without to felling alone. The people who didn't know how to read could have the possibility to heard the new information. The radio was and still being one of the pillar of the medias of communication.

The tecnological progress didn't stop to evolution, in fact after the radio, the television and computer were born. The television was very successful, the people were hypnotized by the lighting screen, with televesion people felt not alone and more close to the information because they could see images of the different part of the world and of their country, also the television was considered like more trusty because the people can see what was happen and fell more close to the hosts.

Next step in evolution was the computer because being more personal, allow to the people to find out about what they want. This is very powerful because if the people have access to internet, they are updated fast about the world and of the international situations what gives a kind of power over the others.

With this internet the social networks born at their time, this networks allow people of different countries to exchange information, ideas and be communicated.

The internet is very practical but can be more insecure too, in our days internet is the pillar of communication, all the people have information of differents parts of the world who let us fell like all the world is together. Some celebrities and politicians use internet to share ideas and beliefs, by this media they can met people who thinks like them, their position become more powerful.

But sometimes this isn't good because the information in internet can be manipulated by everyone, the governments and politicals can provide us with wrong information to drive for their own interest.

Internet have two faces for the society, it can be the most practical media of communication, but it can also be the real enemy of society. Since the creation of internet they are a lot of problems that they weren't before.
