Wolverine is a fictional superhero character that appears in comic books published by Marvel

Born James Howlet and commonly known as Logan, Wolverine is a mutant who possesses animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, and a healing factor.

The character first appeared in the last panel of The Incredible Hulk #180, with his first full appearance in #181 (Nov. 1974)

He was created by Len Wein and by John Romita, who designed the character.

When the character is created, Logan is agent of the Canadian government and superhero as code name is wolwerine. In the Incredible Hulk # 181, he was sent by the Government of Canada with the mission to end a confrontation between Hulk and Wendigo who sow destruction around them. Its speed and agility allow him to face these two giants without suffering from the comparison.

Since the origin of the character was changed and revealed to the public, particularly in the X-Men series. Wolverine is from the Canadian secret Weapon X project, which aimed to create a super soldier. His skeleton was covered with adamantium, an indestructible metal. As a result of a genetic mutation, it already had retractable claws that are part of its skeleton. These claws were also covered with adamantium. After finishing the experiment, its creator decided to take away the memory. Wolverine runaway but he takes three adamantium ball gun in the skull. he completely forgets its past.

Wolverine joined a team of superhero, the X-Men.
