The gynecologist of the Greek fertility clinic Genesis of Athens, Konstantinos Sfakianoudis and his team, recently did a big discover about menopausal women. Indeed, by using a platelet-rich plasma (PRP), it is possible to isolate growth factors, molecules that trigger growth of tissue and blood vessels by centrifugation. This method is generally used in order to repair damages cause on bones and muscles and can even stimulate tissue regeneration.  Thanks to it, ovaries rejuvenate, the menstrual cycle of this women renew itself and collect to fertilize their eggs. By searching a little bit, it looks like PRP work by stimulating stem cells. A little number of them continues to create new eggs, through a woman's life. Growth factors incite a number of this stems to regenerate tissue and produce ovulation hormones. Thirty women between the ages of forty-six and forty-nine agreed to try this new hope to have a child. Researchers succeeded to isolate and fertilize their eggs in about two-third of cases.  For example, a patient at the age of forty who became menopausal five years ago, had her period six months later after PRP's injection. On the other hand, some specialists are opposed at this technique because this treatment hasn't been enough tested.
