I'm going to talk about an American series called "Desperates Housewives". I chose this series because it was the first series I watched and I still look. And it's my favorite serie.

Desperates Housewies was created by Marc Cherry and dissiminated between the three of October two thousand and four and the thirteenth of May two thousand and twelve

The series features the lively daily life of four women: Susan Mayer, Lynette Scavo, Bree Van de Kamp and Gabrielle Solis. They live in Wisteria Lane, a chic suburb of Fairview Mary Alice Young, a friend of heroines, commits suicide at the beginning of the first episode, and comments on the multitude of intrigues mixing humor, drama and mystery in which the Four women. As the seasons go by, other desperate women join in, including Edie Britt, a manipulative "crook of men", Katherine Mayfair, a housewife with a troubled past, and Renee Perry, a rich divorced.

I will explain the generic Desperate Housewives, it is based on a reflection on the place of women in society. First crushed by household chores (shopping, household, children) then deceived, the woman rebel.
