Crime and punishment in the US

I am going to talk about the notion of locations and forms of power. A person, a group, or a notion having a great influence or control on others. The Second Amendment to the Constitution was created in 1789 (seventeen eighty-nine). It was written to protect the US citizens from the “invaders” who were the English. But today, the US is separated on the issue of gun control.

Why the issue of gun control is so controversial in the US?

Firstly, I’ll talk about pro-gun and anti-gun. Then, I’ll talk about the increase of the massacre.

We saw a document about the constitution. The US was separated because of pro-gun advocates and anti-gun advocates. The pro-gun advocates are the people in favor of guns. There is an association which is in favor of bearing arms is National Rifle Association (NRA). They have many arguments as “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”. On 1995 (nineteen ninety-five), the pro-gun advocates said that people could carry concealed weapons in public to protect themselves. However, the anti-gun advocates are the people who are opposed to the right to bear arms. Anti-gun advocates are convinced of guns are dangerous.

We also note that the rate of people killed is really high. For example, the shooting of Columbine caused the death of fourteen persons in a high school they were killed by two teenagers. Too many people carry a gun and utilize them for doing the evil. . It’s really easy to get a weapon in the US. More and more we see that the crime rate is dangerously increasing. It was multiplied by 5, that’s really scary. There are movies as “Crossing over” which are showing a lot of violence, shots and deaths and I think that the children who had seen this, are more likely to do the same thing.

Currently the US has a real problem with the issue of weapons. I don’t think that the US can solve this problem because there will always be conflict with the weapons. The country tries to reduce the rate of dead by enforcing sentenced to shame. Sentenced to shame is the fact to punish the delinquents. Luckily, in France we don’t have a law as the second amendment in the US, and the guns are illegal except policy or army and generally persons responsible for security of citizens.
