1. I. Compréhension de l'écrit

Cet article est tiré du journal « The Financial Times » (en date du 14 juin 2016) et expose les arguments du fondateur d'Alibaba Jack Ma sur la contrefaçon.

Selon lui la contrefaçon n'est pas un problème de qualité des produits puisque ses produit auraient déjà surpassé ceux présent sur le marché à un prix moindre, mais seulement un problème de propriété intellectuelle. Toutes ces déclarations exaspèrent les directeurs des grandes marques qu'il est accusé de copier comme Bernard Arnaud et Keiring. (86 mots)

Counterfeiting is a scourge for big brands, it reduces their turnover and deteriorates their international brand image, while reducing the number of consumers of the company. It arises from a need of consumers to appropriate a brand without assuming the costs which are often high since luxury items are the most counterfeit. In my opinion, it can be fought by protecting its products with patents, by monitoring the internet in order to detect anomalies. In addition, monitoring systems and investigative means, both internally and through external legal agencies can be put in place. (93 mots)
