Sunday bloody Sunday is a U2 song which speaks of a demonstration by Catholics in 1972 in Ulster (Northern Ireland) which are shot by British soldiers.

THERE were many wounded and dead.

This incident découla a long dark period in Northern Ireland which experienced numerous attacks and other incidents.

Recently the movements of the IRA (Irish Republic Army) stopped.

The documentary was filmed on that day: what happened before, during and after the "massacre" ... I found this documentary integrating people who really participated in this very interesting day full of realism. We understand better what happened and why some have decided to join the IRA as a result of this bloody day rather than remain pacifists.

In 1974 the U2 singer was on the scene of an attack. He left the scene only minutes before the bomb exploded. A few years later, it is in remembrance of that moment and because of the difficulties encountered by Irish that he composed this song.
