Black Lives Matter is a movement create in 2013 to defend the black’s life. It was created with a hashtag in Twitter, a social network, after the acquittal of George Zimmerman who has killed Trayvon Martin, a black adolescent in Florida. It was three afro-American women, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi, who started up this mobilisation.

Black Lives Matter is a social movement then it is decentralised and the action is more lead by local actor. It struggle against the racism in USA, the murder of black by policemen or civil people remaining unpunished. The movement claims the legacy of the civil rights movement and the Black Panthers, we can see that many people use her symbol of raised fist, But he is much more inclusive than his elders. Unlike the black movements of the 60s, where straight men dominated, the voices of Black Lives Matter are women and LGBT.

It was at the time of the Ferguson revolts that the hashtag became a slogan. For months, tens of thousands of people marched in the country. For a whole section of the population, Brown's death, a year and a half after that of Martin, reveals the truth of the black condition in the United States: that of discrimination.

There is also form of protestation in sport since the creation of black lives matter like Colin Kaepernick, a quarterback, who take a particular position Fist raised and knee on the ground during the national anthem. Many American people criticise her and we can find many video of people who burn the Jersey of Kaepernick’s Team. We can see that the caricature critics this people.

Many people in world support the movement like in Palestine, Europe… In France, the symbol and slogan of Black lives matter was used when Adama Traore was supposedly killed by police man in 2016.

Another Slogan has also an important place in the movement “No justice, No peace”.

Since Ferguson, the Black Lives Matter has grown, thanks to the organizing efforts of activists but also because of a series of deaths. Eric Garner, smothered by a white policeman while a video shows him saying “I can’t breathe”; Tamir Rice, 12, shot while playing with a fake pistol; Walter Scott, seen flying, succumbs to the shots of a white policeman in South Carolina; Nine people are killed by a white man in a church in Charleston… and many others.

For many observers, the movement has carved out a real place in the public debate. Black Lives Matter has stepped up the implementation of certain reforms by focusing on discrimination against Black people and police violence. The wall street journal said. "The Black Lives Matter campaign, decentralized and largely driven by social networks, has emerged as a political and social force.      Observers believe that she has helped launch the police officers' increased use of body-cameras, the rapid arrest of some police officers in cases where they opened fire, and a change in public opinion. "
