My thesis:

The idea that violence is linked to human nature dates to Hobbes but today scientists, psychologists and many more researchers extended this notion by arguing that behaviors, not just hereditary traits and pathology aspects of humans can be shaped by natural selection and lineage. The prevalence of violence in society has driven all kinds of people to investigate to understand more of this fascinating subject and the causes of destructive kind of behaviour. This is why answer today our purpose will be to answer the following question:  Are humans predisposed to violence and aggression?

Half of professional opinions of neuroscientist and imagining technology allowed to reveal that emotional and behavioral disorders such as violence, suicide, depression etc. often come from the same disruption in the brain’s activity. According to Davis (2016 ), some people can even be born violent and with predisposed murderous intents towards other humans, even more so the environment that we find ourselves into ? Affects gravely our behavior, indeed environmental factors and societal influences humans with biological elements creating a complex loop that perpetuates violence in the society.

As an example, we’ll take the state of the world and all the ongoing wars such as the one in Congo, or terrible repeated attacks that the Malian populations has been receiving in west-Africa, and unfortunately those two aren’t the first ones, nor the last. Likely, this suggests that common behaviors including violence might have a genetic explanation, a predisposition because a critical environmental triggers other issues and has accurately throughout history driven humanity mad during the first World War for example.

Moreover, knowing how human behavior is quite nuanced what is disturbing is the fact that we humans, are becoming more violent in movies or books. Indeed, modern media, including Tv sometimes glorify violence by presenting it as entertainment with a new category of its own: documentaries on famous murderers, serial killers and dangerous criminals, true crimes and crimes inspired by real ones. This new trend reinforces aggressive behaviors especially if showed to a much younger public, it could subtly condition them to view conflict as acceptable or even worst funny.
