1) 1/ This document is an article entitled « Should we all become vegetarians ? ». The text was taken from a newspaper, Time, published on October 14, 2002. It was written by Richard Corliss. The article isn’t illustrated. The text deals with vegetarianism. It explains reasons why so many peopal have become vegetarian, and it shows the consequences on health.

2/ The translation of title of this document is : Devrions-nous tous devenir végétariens ?

3/Many people consider themselves as vegetarians. For exemple, this being the case of 10 millions of Americans. The vegetarian are increasingly numerous. Many children has become vegetarian because they don’t want to eat the heroes of their favorite movies, like Babe or Chiken Run. Today to be veggie, it’s to be human and save lives.

4/ The last sentence is an rhetorical question. The journalist end on touch of humour, because tofu isn’t known for its good taste. Richard Corliss asked who prefer to eat tofu at meat or vegetables because througout the article, he demonstrtes that some prefer to eat meat, others to eat vegetables.

5/The journalist is present in article because this text isn’t neutral. In fact this text leading to ridiculous the vegetarianism. Richard Corlis showed this making touch of humour and he take sides. That is demonstreted by sentences like « not eating meat is your ouwn. »( l.19)  « man is perched at the top of the food chain and must live with his choice to feed on the living things futher down. » (l.68) « we are considering the human treatment of what is not human. » (l.72)
