Projected Three Year Business Plan for AZ FLUENCY
AZ FLUENCY is a language consultancy designed to allow French businesses to develop language-specific skill sets facilitating access to international markets. Speaking fluent English, both clearly and concisely, is vital in today’s business environment. Future successes in the global economy are linked to these language and communication skills which must be encouraged in the workplace. AZ Fluency plans to fill that niche. As a language consultancy, we will offer in-house course strategies tailored to complement the particular requirements of our clients. To supplement, we will offer weekend immersion courses.
All classes will be taught by English speaking trainers with industry-specific experience.
AZ FLUENCY specifically has chosen France because of its’ business friendly environment. France, by far, stood out as the best place to establish our business. Everything from the prevailing tax structure to government entities such as Invest in France, make it the optimum choice for our company. That, and that Paris is synonymous with all things international, fits with the AZ FLUENCY global profile that we are putting forth.
For the past few months, AZ has been working closely with Invest in France and Ile de France (Agence Regionale de Developpement). IFA has been and will continue to be involved in the establishment and expansion of AZ. We are already discussing other areas of France to eventually expand to; specifically we are looking to the south of France. IFA will offer guidance regarding legal matters and marketing. Through IFA, we were able to meet with Paris Development while we were there in May. They are helping us with finding our office space; they also will allow us access to employment pools to facilitate our hiring needs. We also look to hire retirees who have worked within the specific sectors we are targeting.
Year One will see AZ FLUENCY set up our business in Paris; establish ourselves while building our reputation. AZ will target legal and medical entities. As above, we will continue to work with IFA and Paris Development to assist us with our marketing and growth. Initially, AZ looks to hire two to three employees. As the company grows we will continue to hire at that rate of growth.
During our first year we also plan to target companies that have not utilized their “formation credit”. The “formation tax” (Taxe d’ apprentissage) is paid by all private companies in France. Companies pay a tax rate of 0.5 per cent of overall salary expenditures. This tax gives employees the right to have access to classes (language, technical, etc) provided by private “formation” centers, such as AZ Fluency or Consular establishments, i.e. the Chamber of Commerce.
