5. Flight Information;

7. Flight Planning;
Policy: AOC holders conduct pre-flight planning so that flights are conducted as follows:
• to the standards of navigational accuracy required in the airspace traversed,
• to meet regulatory fuel requirements,
• to satisfy ATC information and reporting requirements,
• and to ensure that flights are operated safely
Responsibility: flight-planning duties are assigned to;
• flight crew or flight control personnel, or
• contracted to specialized services
Computation and Verification
• Procedures, formats (class 1 and 2 navigation, Organized Track Systems,
…etc), and forms to be used,
• Procedure to verify the accuracy of planning,
• Procedures for flight crew and operational control personnel to scrutinize all computer generated and all manually generated flight plans for accuracy.
