How can an individual change the course of history?
Changing the course of history isn’t as simple as we think. It requires some intelligence and unparalleled charisma but not only that.
First an individual can change the course of history if and only if this person defends an idea or a thesis and for defend this idea he has to be particularly influencing which means that he has to be a good speaker, he has to trust in himself. Of course he can’t do all this alone, only if he’s a prophet. He has to be popular because the people will listen to him, if a person wants to be president of U.S.A, the citizens will or won’t vote for him so if he wants to success he has to be convincing. For more chances to success he has to gather friends, family’s member and people of his community. For example, Malcolm X, this articulate, passionate and a naturally gifted and inspirational orator and leader of Black Panthers who traveled in many American cities where he met admirers, where he did a lot of speeches for justify his actions and ideas.
On the other hand, as we said, an individual who can change the course of history must be influencing, and that’s not directly means that this person must be an adult; on the contrary kids and teenagers are really talented regarding convincing people. In fact some children have made the history include for example Claudette Calvin who was against the segregation at the age of 15 and she refused to sit at the back of a bus (place which was reserved for Negros) and she jailed for this act and she was inspired from Rosa Park a woman who fought for African American rights alongside the famous M.L.King. Like what a person can change the course of history while being an idol. Another perfect example is the girls of Little Rock Central High School in Alabama who were very brave to face this injustice against her and African American people and proved to America that Negros have a mind too and in spite of they were molested and ostracized by white students, they DID IT! They got their diploma and this is a very good step forward.
Finally, if a person wants to change the course of history, it didn’t needs just the qualities of a good speaker but also the will, the courage and the honor.
