Martin Luther King was born the January 15th 1929 and was assassinated the April 4th 1968 by James Earl Ray. Martin Luther King is a black pastor and he was a very important person because he fights against racism and justice for black population.

He became famous for he's speech "I have a dream" in august 28th 1963 and he had Kennedy for he's support. "I Have a Dream" speech as calling for fraternity between blacks and whites became a hymn of solidarity and hope agreement between all communities. He fights against the injustice of segregation in the United States. Martin Luther King was the lever that raised the black community and put it into the street for the just struggle. He has shown that the active non-violence could win. March 21, thirty five thousand "pilgrims" to join Montgomery mass start this manifestation for it have a bigger impact. People already heard another dream: the "Black Power" (Black Power), that an America without whites.

In 1964, he had Nobel Peace Prize about the peace for his fight racism and injustice thanks to the non-violence. It's the youngest man for this prize. He receives this prize because he had take again the idea of the non-violence, and thanks to him, the black population write to him will be increase.

In 1947, Martin Luther King became pastor and he was married with Coretta Scott in 1953.

In 1955, he leads the boycott movement of bus with Ralph Abernathy and Edgar Nixon after the arrest of Rosa Parks.

In 1957, he creates with other persons the Southern Christian Leadership Conference whose he become the president. Martin Luther King written, in a book Stride toward freedom; the Montgomery story in 1958, a citation for give his opinion of the racial segregation and consequences of this segregation: “often men hate each other because they are afraid from one another, they are afraid because they do not know one, they do not know one because they can not communicate, they can not to communicate because they are separated”. The September 20th 1958, he is stab by a black woman in Harlem because she accuses Martin Luther King of being a communist but he forgives her.

In 1965, Martin Luther King won his last success with the walk from Selma to Montgomery.

In 1968, Martin Luther King will live Memphis for support the black population who wants ameliorations. He was kill by a white segregationist by a firearm in the balcony of the Lorraine Motel.
