Hessenatie Logistics develops integrated sup- ply chain solutions. We always start out from the basic premise of creating value for our customers. This is value that can be measu- red in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability. This vision is implemented in a process-oriented way, based on a formalised and clearly structured end-to-end methodo- logy. In order to create value, Hessenatie Logistics relies on three building blocks: customer commitment, vertical integration and horizontal collaboration.
Customer Commitment
Hessenatie Logistics considers its customers as partners and strives for long-term, permanent relationships and consistently seeks improve- ment and optimisation. The end-to-end me- thodology of Hessenatie Logistics guarantees streamlined processes. These processes are constantly analysed, evaluated and optimised. Hessenatie Logistics can rely on a strong team of motivated manual workers, office staff and managers, who set high store by customer commitment.
Since April 2011, Hessenatie Logistics is part of the logistics and transport company H.Essers. About H.Essers The family-run logistics service provider H.Essers, founded in 1928, is a trend-setting logistics service provider, operating throughout Europe. The company offers personalised and integrated transport and logistics solu- tions. It currently owns 700,000 m2 of warehousing space, a fleet of 1050 vehicles and 1780 trailers driving some 88 million kilometres per annum. The company employs more than 3000 members of staff. Besides the head office in Genk, Belgium, H.Essers also has branches in 12 countries in Western and Central Europe. Over the last ten years, the family-run busi- ness has undergone real expansion through strong organic growth and a number of strategic take-overs. In 2010, the Group achieved a turnover of 310 million euros. H. Essers is an asset-based company, i.e. it owns its own fleet of vehicles, warehouses and IT systems. This ensures that the company can retain maximum control over all of its strategic processes. The fact that the company is family run ensures short decision-making processes, which means that the company can be flexible in its response to changing market conditions and fluctuating international market situations.

Vertical Integration
With its constant striving to create value, Hessenatie Logistics as an integrated logistics service provider focuses on the (step-by- step) development and implementation of a total solution for the entire logistics process from the customer’s perspective. Hessenatie Logistics guarantees the execution of this total solution in a completely transparent way, with continuous optimisation and in line with changing market conditions and the customer’s requirements.
Horizontal Collaboration
Hessenatie Logistics is convinced that the logistics service provider of the future must be able to support and integrate the logistic chains of various partners, and to be able to continuously optimise them within one same co-ordinating operational environment.
Such forms of horizontal collaboration can result in significant cost reductions for ware- housing, transport and supply management. The autonomy of the participating
