The Christmas truce

Doc 1 :

A. In the picture we find many men who are soldiers ( British and German) sharing a moment together. There are talking and playing some game( with some coffee ).

An agreement between enemies or opponents to stop fighting or arguing for a certain time.

B. A soldier get by letter a picture of a woman and chocolate bars. The others soldiers sanf a song all together( British and German) while watching the Area. But a man( British) come in front and the Germans prepare to fire but they stop it there is no danger. The German and the British begin to talk and the others follow them. And begin to play a game all together. And share their gift.

C. The soldiers think they would attempt to attack them. And begin to think that Christmas is for sharing.

D. That the soldiers of the both camp are not bad and can have a moment of peace and not war and blood.

Doc 2 :

A. Manta Singh is a captain of India and he met George Henderson who was a lieutenant and young English officer.

B. They fight together the capture and they helped each other during this difficult time until they were rescue.

C. Because Manta saved George and when they were promoted and George continue to preserve this friendship by taking care of his son Because Manta sadly died .

D. Because Manta who was a genuine person didn't deserve this and because George continue to preserve this friendship ( Manta who saved his life ) It means a lot to him because he saved his life but unfortunately he died but he continues to remain friends despite the circumstances and take care of his son to return the favors he did him by saving his life .

E. They come trough this condition and keep on going to fight for each other .

Doc 3:

A. The book covers suggest a sad story because we don't see their face and the flowers make us rethink of blood .

B. Nettice has been sent to the rest compound so a mental hospital because she was being sweet to a blind officer.

C. Because of the war the human relationship becomes understandable because they have the same situation and they understand each other situations .

D. Because it will be difficult to get used to everyone and everyone present there.
