Superman est un super-héros qui apparaît dans les bandes dessinées publiées par DC Comics , qui est devenu un icone culturel americain Superman a été créé par l'écrivain Jerry Siegel et l'artiste Joe en 1933 puis a été vendu à Detective Comics, Inc. (plus tard DC Comics) en 1938. Son premier comics apparait en juin de la meme année. Avec le succe de ses aventure, le genre de superhero devient celebre dans la bande dessinée americaine

superman est né a krypton sous le nom de Kal-el, on l envoie sur Terre avant la destruction de la planete. Il est eleve par une famille de fermier a smallville et rebatisé Clark Joseph Kent. Apres avoir appris ses origines et developpé ses capacités surnaturelle il décide de devenir un superhero pour aider les hommes. Il s installe a metropolis en tant que clark kent faiqant journaliste pour cacher son identité secret.

Son costume est fait par sa mere martha kent, composé d'un justaucorps rouge, bleu et jaune, de collants et de bottes moulantes, d’une ceinture, avec une cape et sur le torse, le dessin d’un ‘S’ rouge sur un écu jaune
