The mystery of the manor.

Once upon a time, about thirty years ago, an old man called Mr Johnson was living in a manor in the Scottish countryside. Nobody really knew him, he was a very discreet man, he seldom left his manor. But there was a scary rumor about Mr. Johnson : he used to have a butler, maybe because he was feeling alone since her wife has died in a tragic car accident many years ago. But all his butlers have mysteriously disappeared. Of course, everybody thought that they had been killed by the old man. His last butler was Jimmy, a 23 years old man. He has unfortunately disappeared two months earlier. So now Mr. Johnson was looking for a new butler. Dale Anderson was Jimmy’s best friend, he knew that his friend had probably been assassinated. But he was determined to learn the truth about his friend’s death.

One day, Dale came to Mr. Johnson’s manor. He had a plan : he wanted the old man to hire him as a butler, then he could explore the manor in order to find informations about Jimmy’s disappearance. So he knocked the door :

- “Who’s there ?” said a deep voice.

- “I’m Dale Anderson, I’ve heard you were looking for a butler.”

- “OK. Enter”

The door opened. A tall man was standing, he was pale, there were no expression on his face.

- “I’m Jack Johnson. But we don’t have to waste time with the presentations. I want you to go downstairs, you have to tidy the cellar, it’s a bit messy over there.”

So Dale went to the cellar. He wasn’t here to clean the floor, so he began to look for informations. While he was looking into a drawer, he saw a small wooden door at the back of the room. The door wasn’t locked, so he could open. After entering the room, he switched on the light. One second later, his blood ran cold. There were corpses hanging on the wall just in front of him. But when he recognized Jimmy’s corpse on the right, his heart was beating so fast that he couldn’t move anymore. He didn’t had the time to screem when he heard Jack’s voice.

- “What are you doing here ?” shouted the old man, wearing a knife in his right hand.

Dale went out of the room as fast as he could. He ran out of the manor, jumped in his car and went away. Then he called the police, told them his story, and Jack
