Every member of our team is very important. And threr is one role that is absolutely crucial to producing a good product, this is the role of the product manager.

My name is Sen, i am the product manager of Cosmepack company. I am Chinese, maybe you are curious that why i came to Cosmepack. In China, we are in a culture that recognizes seniority based on your background and ages, especially in the state-owned company. Although you work very hard, but some things are really difficult to change. But as for foreign invested enterprises in the talent selection, the rules are more fairness.I think it’s better for my development.

As product manager, simply speaking, my job is to create and evaluate many product ideas and decide which product ideas are worth pursuing, and which are not.

At the same time, i think it’s necessary to point out the mission of our departement. Our desire is to supply high quality packaging and range of printing product to the customers from around the world.

Collectively we have over 10 years experience in the packaging, specializing in the manufacture of cosmetic box, paper box, plastic bag, plastic packaging, etc whole packaging products.Production departement of Cosmetic Packaging has 3 manufacturing printing packaging facilities in Shenzhen, which is a big and modern city in south of china, and also a famous manufacture city in the world, more than 1,000 employees enable us to meet your different scale of capacity for any sort of printing packaging process.

So, what is the characteristic of chinese workers? And why we choose to set up our factory in China?

In the one hand, On Dec.16, 2009, “the Chinese worker” ended up ranking second in the selection of Time magazine’s prestigious “Person of the Year 2009.” They were the only group selected. Time magazine commented: “Chinese workers are diligent,’ ‘hardworking‘ and ‘ brave,‘ they may not actually understand how important they are to the stability‘ and ‘development’ of China’s economy, but they are the ones who lead the world to economic ‘recovery‘.” Chinese workers contribute greatly to the development of China and deserve Time’s recognition. In the other hand, the labor cost is really low in china, compared with other countries,as a chinese manager, there is no diffucult to command and to communicate with our workers.

We developed our business by providing high quality packaging always within the deadline. This time our customer is L’Oreal, i have recived thier order form our Director Myriam, 20000000 bottle of cream outer packing  and  inner packing, what a big task for our departement!

As far as i am concerned, the problem is how to finish our work within the deadline?

Although the chinese is hard working, but this task is still very hard to complish. We have 1000 experienced workers in China, each worker can finish 400 outer and inter packing one day, so we need at least 50 working days for finishing our task. But my director ask me to finish the work within 5 weeks.So they should work overtime for improving
