The nightmares of the clone troopers :

Every night when a clone trooper goes to sleep, he finds himself revisiting the same nightmare. He enters a world of fog and shadow, all at once familiar and terrifying. All around him the dins of battle echo, the screams of dying men and the groans of warping metal. The clone trooper cannot see the faces of the phantoms around him and so he feels alone despite being lost in a sea of bodies. Although he fears what lies ahead, he finds himself being pulled continuously forward by some mysterious power. If he does not complete this mission, then all those who have been lost along the way will have died in vain. This wasn't just a dream that one clone had, it's the shared nightmare and experience that every clone trooper went through when he laid down and closed his eyes. The clone trooopers were genetically altered to be loyal and brave soldiers, but they were also conditionned against their own will to put the mission above all else. This overrode their individual fear and self-preservation. This made every clone a hero.
