The Light is a narrative point and click adventure inspired by Hemingway novels.
The main hero gets a job of light keeper on a small island in the middle of the sea. He arrivs to the island and starts the job. After a while he realizes that the island keeps some dark secret and starts investigating it. The whole dynasty of keepers lived on this island and died with some strange circumstances. That starts rumors about a curse.
It’s a story about a sea and a loneliness and also about a dark mystery lighthouses keep.

Mechanics TOL is a classical point and click game like Machinarium. The locations camera angles, characters moving and the rest is pretty similar. Also we use some arcade mechanics: hero swims, drives a boat.
Visual style These concepts shows that we love cartoonish sketchy style. But we should fit exactly this style. The main idea is to create some unique and very recognizable visual. We want to give a whole freedom to artist and make something very special in his own style.
Current development Research We made a research and collect tons of information about lighthouses: how they are built and how they work. The game will be very realistic in this field. Also it will contain bonus info about lighthouses: facts, legends etc.
We enlist a support of few actual lighthouse keepers from Ukraine and Russia who will advise us during the development. Game design document It’s done for 95%. GDD is a documents describing all the areas of the game development for all team members. Editor We’re making the game on Unity + Fungus + Spine + Wwise. We use Unity physics engine. We’re create visual level editor
