American Museum of Natural History

The AMNH is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, at the corner of the 81th street and Central Park West, in New York City.

It opened in 1877 after a long building (8 years). The museum possesses more than 32 millions of spécimens (faun/flora). Moreover, about 1200 employees are working in it, and it finances almost a thousand of scientifical trips. Rare pièces make the success of that museum in the world ( for example Star of India, which is the biggest blue saphir in the whole world).

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, at the corner of the 89th street and 1071 Fifth Avenue.

It’s a museum of modern art (impressionism). It opened on the 21th october 1959. It is the best museum created by the Solomon R. Guggenheim fondation.

There are 6000 Works.

At the Baining, it’s name was « The Museum of non-objective painting ».

Paintings of Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Edouard Manet, Vincent Van Gogh, Marc Chagall etc… are exposed.

New Museum

The New Museum is located at number 235 Bowery in Manhattan in New York City. It was founded in 1977 and renewed in December 2007.

It is the only museum in New York exclusively devoted to presenting contemporary art from around the world. The New Museum has exhibited artists from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, China, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Germany, Poland, Spain, South Africa etc…
