Today i'm going to present an artwork of Banksy called Napalm , Banksy made this

 artwork on 1994 .This picture was taken on a road near Trang Bang in Vietnam .

This is a montage of the picture taken by Nick Ut

Description :

This picture is a picture changed from the picure of the little girl burned by US

Napalm Strikes .

On this artwork the colours are bland maybe to show the negative image of USA .

On this picture we can see a young girl with severe burns on the middle , she is

naked because after was burn by Napalm Strikes she was undressed . She

screamed in pain .

On the left there is the famous mouse that kids love , Mickey Mouse he take the

hand of the little girl . The mouse is smiling unlike the little girl .

On the right there is Ronald McDonald the icon of the entertainment McDonald's he

is smiling too like Mickey Mouse .

Main idea :

Banksy wanted to show the horror of the Vietnam War who opposed USA and the

Vietnam between 1955 and 1975 . Banksy taken Mickey Mouse and Ronald

McDonald because they are the symbols of the modern USA of consommation .

He want to show the horror of War and the hypocrisy of the USA , that's a contrast

between the good image of USA and the victims of USA .

My opinion :

I think Banksy taken the good decision to did this artwork because the people

needed to knew the real appareance of WAR . That's a very good idea to take two of

most icons of United States because that's show the contrast between the utopy

and the reality .
