Where ?

The bahamas is a country made out of 700 islands. It is located betwenn Cuba and Miami. The islands are based on a vast submarine limestone plateau, nearly 10 km thick, one of the largest in the world.

1782> A Franco-Spanish-American coalition attacks Nassau; Spain takes possession of the Bahamas.

1783> The English take Nassau back. The Treaty of Versailles officially yields the Bahamas to England

Environnement :

The Bahamas claims to be the cradle of ecotourism,  there was the creation of the Bahamas National Trust, the Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation, dedicated to the protection of fauna and flora and a nature reserve on Eleuthera Island.
