Do you know the French manicure ?

* I’m going to present you the theme of the French manicure. I chose this theme because it’s one of my favorites passions.

*French manicure it’s an esthetic care realized on nails.

* It's in 1975 that the French manicure was invented by Jeff PINK. It was at the beginning for the actresses working in Hollywood. The directors of movies wanted a universal manicure to go with all clothes.

* It’s Jeff Pink's who baptized this technique "French manicures" in 1978.

The name "French Manicure" isn't French, it's American. The name: «the French manicure» was taken in reference to the "French Touch", which is a term evoking the elegance and the refinement of France in the field of the fashion.

* There exist different types of French manicure like:

- Manicure on natural nails: We apply a coat of transparent base under the totality of the nail then we paint the edge of the nail in white color. After, we can add a nail varnish of the color of our choice.

- Applying false nails: The technique consists at put a plastic structure which covers completely the natural nail. This French manicure lasts 1 week at least.

- The resin technique: The resin appeared in the 1980s. The balls of resin placed on the natural nail. This technique allows realizing extensions, to sculpt very solid nails and so to realize decorations in 3 dimensions.

- The gel technique: It’s in 1995s that the UV gel was invented. The nails are catalyzed under ultraviolet tubes to fix the gel and dry nails. This technique allows obtaining nails more supple than with resin. The aspect is more natural with a brilliant effect.

* It’s possible to have French manicures in many beauty parlors, but also in nail bars. We can also buy a kit in hypermarkets and specialized stores and do the French Manicure at home.

* The French manicures developed all around the world and seduced many women's. The result is smart, feminine and sublime. Over the years, the art of manicure evolved a lot to become a full fashion accessory today. Now, the French manicure come on toenails, of different colors, with motives, and glitter gels.

* I like also realize “nails art”. The nail art is little motifs in the nail, like this. These pictures are nails art that I realized this year. To begin, I chose the motif, I put a little of nail varnish over the plate and with the inking pad I transfer the motif to the nail.

* To conclude, I’m going to give you, my personal opinion. French manicure is a beautiful fashion accessory for women. I like to have beautiful nails and I made French manicure at home. I also like to make French manicure on the nails of my friends; we spend a good moment around the same passion.
