Hello, my name is Chris, and, in this image, I am in the blue cabinet on the top left corner. It’s where I work every day. Every morning I need to wake up at 4:30 am, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, take everything I need and then head out at 5:00 am to take 30 minutes of a double-decker bus to arrive at the “Piccadilly Circus” tube station. I then open my little cabinet and start selling everyday things like cigarettes, newspapers, chewing gums, drinks and many other daily things. I sell until 12:00 where I take a quick 30 minutes break to eat a sandwich and chat with my friends. Then I continue selling until 10:00 pm, where I will close my little cabinet and then take the same road to go back home where I would eat a fast dinner on my own and then just go to sleep. You might think that it’s a boring job, but for me, it's an easy job and I don’t need a lot of effort to do it. I'm considered "poor" in the city. My job is small, and I don't win a lot of money with it, so I have tried to sell things online which made me a little bit more income so that I can live comfortably. I don't often have problems with money, but I know some of my friends do, and it's not only sometimes. These examples are why I think there a too big financial inequality in London.
