Introduction :

• I’m going to develop the notion of Power, especially about the Black in the USA
• I’m going to consider how they have achieved recognition in the USA.
• First, I’m going to develop segregation and then the fight for the rights, and next recognition for the Blacks.
• Finally, I’m going to conclude with my opinion.

Développement :

• First, I am going to the develop the segregation of the blacks. In the nineteen fifty, sinks were separated between blacks people and white people. The new sinks are reserved to white people, old sinks for black people.

Black were maltreated, killed by racist peope and the Ku Klux Klan. Their ideologie was white supremacy. The whrite thought that they were superior to black people.

• Next, I am going to develop then the fight for the rights of the blacks. In two thousand six, a photograph, took a litlle african american child. She was protesting for the rights because, black people are scared, they are still victim of discrimination in the USA.

« Strange Fruit » is a song sang by Billie Holiday in nineteen thirty nine. This son gis a tribute to blacks people and his father who died because he didn’t have treatment because he was black. The strange fruits are black people who were maltreating and killing

Rosa Parks is a famous woman beacause she didn’t want to leave her seat on the bus, because she was tired of her workday and decided to stay on her seat. A bus that was reserved for white people. In Montgommery, the bus driver filed a complaint against Rosa, written by two officers. Rosa was arrested.

• Then, I am going to develop recognition for the blacks. The song « Thank you Sister Rosa » is a tribute to Rosa Parks sing by three black men. They call Rosa « sister » because she was black too. We see segregation because there are wating rooms for black people and for white people. They were separate in public place. In the music clip, we see the emotion of Rosa who was sad in the bus.

After the arrest of Rosa, MLK organized a Bus Boycott in Montgomery. He looks at three buses and he see that one hundred percent of black helped in the bus Boycotte. Rosa to pay for a fine of fourteen dollars.

The trial of Rosa was a factor to arouse the Negroes, to positive actions and it was a test for the validity of the segregation law.

Conclusion :

Finally, I think the situation has really changed for the Blacks in the USA. but there are still negative points because they are still victim of discrimination all over the world.
