1. Georges Orwell, born as Eric Arthur Blair, was an English intellectual, who was born on 25 June 1903 in India and died on 21 January 1950. He's the author of Animal Farm and 1984. He move off India One year after his birth, his mother takes him to England. Orwell attended “Eton College,” an independent boys’ school. As his family did not have the financial means to finance his university studies, he joined the «Indian Imperial Police». Orwell was bitten by the writing virus early in his life, his writing career gained prominence with his 1945 novel «animal farm».

3. a- An activism of the english language :
to guide writers into writing clearly and truthfully, Orwell proposed the following six rules:
1) Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print.
2) Never use a long word where a short one will do.
3) If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.
4) Never use the passive where you can use the active.
5) Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a jargon word if you can think of an everyday English equivalent.
6) Break any of these rules sooner than say anything outright barbarous.
Orwell’s Six Rules are a good reminder to anyone who proposes to communicate accurately. They have an enduring freshness to them, significant to all times and places.
b- An activism of the working class :
1922-1927 : Policeman, Indian Imperial Police, Burma division
In 1933, Eric Arthur Blair became George Orwell. A year later, he began writing. he wrote books such as Burmese Days, A Clergyman’s Daughter and Road to Wigan Pier at that time before the Spanish Civil War.
In 1937, the Spanish civil war broke out. orwell was helping the British in this war. He was shot in the throat but managed to survive.
