GENERAL OVERVIEW: More than one country in South America, Brazil is a continent in the continent almost 8 512 000 km ², nearly 16 times that of France!This South American country is bordered by Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Suriname, and Guyana. It is the 5th largest country in the world and the most densely populated in South America. Since Brazil was once a colony of Portugal, its official language has remained Portuguese. It is also a country deeply rooted in its religion with almost all Brazilian practicing the Roman Catholic beliefs. The climate of Brazil is basically tropical. Over 90% of the country is near the Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn. With this kind of proximity to the Equator, Brazil has a wonderfully even tempered climate all year round which makes it an ideal vacation destination. The beach, the sun, the heat but also the hospitality of the Brazilian people and pretty girls give us a view of paradise, a taste of "sea sex and sun" !!!

THE PEOPLE: Brazil has more than 191 million inhabitants. It is a young population with a high birth rate. How to recognize a Brazilian? Brazilians are generally Portuguese hairless and tanned. SAFETY: Brazil is a violent country with about 50 000 murders a year ! It is a very mixed at the social level. There are a richest in the world like the poorest. This poverty is mainly located in Rio's favelas, San Luis favelas ,San paolo's favelas ...etc all big cities. Therefore avoid to walk at night ,move rather taxi if you want to come back alive.
