I-Biography :
The UNICEF(The United Nations Children's Fund) is an agency of the UNO dedicated to the improvement and to the promotion of the condition of the chirlden. From its creation, on December 11th, 1946, it has actyvely participated in yhe writing, the conception of the agreement relative to children rights, adopted during the summit of NewYork November 20th, 1989. The UNICEF receveid the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.
II-Various managers :
The UNICEF was created and managed by Maurice PATE during 9years. The it was resumed by Henri LABOUISSE during 14years. James P. GRANT had managed the UNICEF during 15years after Carol BELLAMY during 10years and was succeeded by Ann VENEMAN who she managed during 5years. And since 2010, it is Anthony LAKE who is the president of the UNICEF.
III-Objectives :
The UNICEF gave itself priority objectives :
-The education of the girls.
-The vaccination and the fight against AIDS.
°Education of the girls:
According to the UNICEF, the educationis a tool which proved its efficiency on the improvement of the living condition of all children. The education of the young women has spectacular effects on the present and the future generations, especially in the infant mortality. Between 2002 and 2005 the UNICEF accelerated the school integration of the girls in 25 countries.
°Vaccination:
According to the UNICEF, the vaccination has important effects on the improvement of the health in world. The programs of vaccination allow other interventions such as the distribution of nourishing complement, the treatment against the diseases conveyed by mosquitoes.
