The Temporal mirror

Chapter 1

In a small town in the United States, 3 young teenagers had the idea earlier in the day to visit the haunted house of their native village on leaving school. When school was over, Jake, Emily and Steve took their bikes and headed to the famous house that everyone is talking about. When the three kids came in front of the house, they had a moment of hesitation before entering, but Jake wasn’t afraid, so he came in first. When they came in, it was very cold and very dark, the house was empty, there was nothing, the parquet floor was striped, and the wind was blowing in the corridors of the rooms upstairs. It was then that the teenagers heard a strange noise coming from the cellar. Steve then had a long moment of doubt before going to check it out while Emily thought it was just a rat or the wind blowing. The walls of the house shook, but it was the opposite of what they thought.

The young people decided to come down without asking any questions, although Steve was a bit skeptical. Jake was the first to arrive in the cellar, Emily, and Steve behind him. But as they got closer and closer to the bottom of the cellar, they saw a large, old mirror lined with gold at the bottom of the room. It was then that a strange sound came out and a strange creature with pointed ears came out of this magnificent mirror …

Chapter 2

Steve, obviously, was the first one to hide. Jack, as for him, without any fear, advanced towards this strange creature. The latter, who was in fact an elf, retreated from fear. Emily was the first to approach him to reassure him. When he was near, Emily, who was very curious, began her questions:

-’Did you really come out of the mirror?’

-’Yes, I think so.’

-’But where are you from?’

As a response, the elf began to cry. Steve came out of his hiding place to reassure the elf.

-‘Actually, I come from a place where many creatures like me live. For example, I know midgets, a talking cat or a fairy.’

The 3 young people were very surprised by what the elf had just said. Jack, as usual, was very excited.

- ’Oh !!! If you’re going home, can we come with you?’

-’Yes, I think it can be done.

Emily and Steve, after some thought, also agreed to visit this "special" place.

After leaving the elf in the haunted house, and returning home without being noticed by their parents to get something to go with, the 3 young people returned to the cellar of this haunted house.

The elf warns them:

- ‘I hope you still agree and are not afraid of adventure, now follow me

And they all went into the mirror’…

Chapter 3

The teenagers, coming out of the mirror, discovered a splendid and extraordinary world.

-’Wow, what an amazing place !!!’ said Emily.

The elf began to show them this parallel world: the sky was pink candy, creatures came out from all sides to greet and say hello to them.
