Player 1 is a group of North Korean who are trying to escape from North Korea to South Korea. Player 1 has two choices to choose, whether to choose Route Border or Route China. For Route Border, Player 1 just has to go directly from North Korea Border and then enter South Korea Border. However the risk is higher if Player 1 chooses Route Border because in between the border there are many traps like bomb which are hidden in the road. Hence the chances of surviving before Player 1 reaches South Korea are very low. If Player 1 chooses Route China to get to South Korea, the risk that he has to take is lower because he just have to cross a river to China and reaches The Embassy of South Korea (Although there are soldiers guarding the river between North Korea and China). The government of South Korea in China will bring the North Koreans back to their own country, and only then will they judge whether to accept Player 1 as a citizen in South Korea or not to. As for Player 2, The South Korea Government has to decide whether to accept or not to accept Player 1 as the citizen in South Korea. However, no matter which route Player 1 chooses, they have chances of surviving and not surviving when they are escaping.

2.2 STRATEGIES

As mentioned in the paragraph above, each player has only 2 strategies to choose. As For Player 1, he can only choose Route Border or Route China and by choosing either 1 of the route there are chances for Player 1 to survive and did not survive. Meanwhile for Player 2, The Embassy of South Korea can only choose to accept or not to accept the North Koreans as their citizen. If Player 2 accepts Player 1 as their citizen, Player 2 has to know the risk that maybe Player 1 is a spy from North Korea and which may bring disastrous effects to the economics of the country. As for the payoff for each player, by choosing each strategy there are disadvantages and advantages for both of them.

Player 1 (The citizen of North Korea)

• The advantages of choosing Route China: Safer, and less risky because there are no bombs

• The disadvantages of choosing Route China: Need more planning and consume a longer time because the distance is further than choosing Route China. The long distance might give a chance for the North Korean government to catch them. There are more numbers of soldiers guarding the river.

• The advantages of choosing Route Border: Consume less time to plan because the distance is shorter and there are fewer soldiers guiding the entrance.

• The Disadvantages of choosing Route Border: Dangerous, and more risky because there are many traps and bombs in between the border of North Korea and South Korea.

Player 2 (The Government of South Korea)

• The advantages of accepting: If they accept Player 1 as their citizen they can strengthen their army forces and increase their country’s power. Besides that Player 2 also can weaken the economy and army forces of North Korea.

• The advantages of rejecting: If Player 2 does not accept Player 1 as their citizen, Player 2 has the advantage of protecting their people’s safety because there are chances that Player 1 is a spy that may bring harm to the country.
