The tower bridge

The Tower Bridge is a tipping bridge over the Thames in London

It was build in heigteen heighty six

At the time of its construction, the Tower Bridge was the largest and most sophisticated of the tilting bridges

The tower birdge mesured 246 meter long and 65 meters high

The tower bridge is open for public in  summer hours: from April to September  and in winter hours : from October to March

Big ben

Big Ben is a big clock Of 13 tons at the top of the Elizabeth Tower , The clock tower of Westminster Palace, which is the seat of the British Parliament

It was build in heighteen fourty three – heighteen fifty nine

Initially, the real name of this bell is The Great Bell
The first bell was made in heighteen fifty six. To carry it to the clock tower, it is installed on a cart pulled by 16 horses.

The elizabeth tower mesured 96 high

 We can visit From December to May three visits of  from Monday to Friday  

From May to September, an additional visit is added on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

There is metro stop Westminster Metro

and much stop for bus next to

Stamford bridge

Stamford Bridge is a football stadium located at Walham Green in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is the football stadium of Chelsea Football Club. Its current capacity is 41 milles places.

It was build in heighteen seventy seven

It remains mainly dedicated to athletics until 1904 ,

On September 29, 1904, the Scotish Gus Mears bought the compound and decided to build a large football stadium with 100,000 seats

The first game of football is played there on September 4, 1905: Chelsea receives Liverpool for a friendly match.

We can visitedat least twice an hour from 10am to 3pm and last for approximately one hour. Up to 40 people can be on a tour. 

The nearest station is Fulham Broadway

Westminister abbey

Westminster Abbey is one of London's most famous religious buildings. Its built in the 13th century

It is the burial place of a part of the kings and queens of England

Almost all the coronations of the English monarchs took place in this abbey.

It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since in  nineteen heighty five.

Special visits  in English are regularly organized by Abbé Vergers.

St paul cathdral

London's St. Paul's Cathedral was built after the destruction of the old building during the Great Fire of London in 1666.

It crowns Ludgate Hill and is located in the City, the historic heart of the city, now the main business district of London.

The site of Ludgate Hill hosted four shrines before the present cathedral.

The first now cathedral , incorporated into the Roman wall, was built of wood, under the reign of Æthelbert, king of Kent.

The first cathedral was destroyed by fire a second time in 1087 and the construction of a fourth cathedral began almost immediately under the aegis of Guillaume le Roux .
