I'm going to talk about myths and heroes. A hero is an ordinary person who does extraordinary things. Heroes lead, inspire and entertain the masses. This is why heroes, with all their mistakes and shortcoming are vital to humanity. Heroic stereotypes can be considered to be unrealistic, but heroes show how vital they are to society. How can an ordinary person make the world a better place?

First, I will speak about young success stories which improved the world. Bill Gates is a good example of American dream and also of Rags to riches stories. It was from scratch that he started his company with a friend in 1975. It was a hard start says Gates. He had several failures experiences and almost closed his business several times. But he never gave up and always persevered in his work. Today he is the second richest man on the planet with 80 billion dollars behind Jeff Bezos founder of Amazon which is also a good example of American dream.

I will now talk about Steve Jobs who is a model for me. Steve Jobs is also a hero who has improved our daily lives with technologies. He is the co-founder of Apple. Only a few business leaders have had more influence on the shape of our daily lives. Ten years ago, there were no iPhone or iPad. There were no apps and the Internet was something you could only access if you were sitting at a computer. But Jobs imagined a tool that can take photos, send E-mail, SMS and create more connection between people. Today, his tool, the iPhone is the most famous phone in the world. In addition, Jobs is an open-minded person who wants to pass on his knowledge and to give advises to people who start their business.

These people who have improved the daily lives with their inventions and companies are not the only ones who are making the world better.
The heroes of everyday life are also examples of improvement around the world. It’s their history and experiences that makes possible to take them as examples.
Richard Branson is a Dyslexic son of immigrant who became mayor of one of the largest cities in the United States which is Chicago. It is thanks to school that he was able to get out of poverty. That’s why he conducted campaigns to integrate foreigners and limit inequalities in school. Other people like Jim Carrey have succeeded with difficulties. He left school at 15 and was homeless for a while in his life. However, he became one of the most famous actors in the United States with films such as the mask or the Truman show.  All of these people are examples of hard life. That's why I think these people are heroes even if they are ordinary. And that's why I think that these people with their stories can make the world better by influencing the others

To conclude, I think that the concept of heroes has an important place in the society. And we must not forget the definition of hero which is subjective and depends on us and on the society. However, a fictional hero as a real must be courageous, honest, and just
