Myth and heroes: to what extent a myth may have existed

Hello my name Precious Help.

I make this video to help you succeed your English presentation. To better help you, I will give you many example

of how to be the best speaker and to finish I show you an example of presentation.

First you have to choose a notion. The notion I’m going to deals with myth and hero/ To start with, I’d like to define

the notion, myth and heroes.

Then make a precise definition that goes with your notion. A myth is a popular belief or tradition embodying the

ideals and instructions of a society. / A hero is a person admired for his achievements, noble qualities and great

courage.

After that introduce your key question. We may wonder to what extent a myth may have existed/ one may wonder

what acts qualifies a person of hero.

Next you can make the link with what you have studied in class. I have chosen to illustrate this notion with the video

we studied in class because... And explain why this document and not another.

If you want it to be successful you have to organise your ideas, for that you could use the following expressions:

To perfect your presentation you must insist on a particular point. It’s worth mentioning that.

The notion I’m going to deal with is Myths and Heroes.

. A myth is a popular belief or tradition embodying the ideals and instructions of a society. A hero is a person admired for his

achievements, noble qualities and great courage.

. We may wonder to what extent are myths still present in our society today?

. I have chosen to illustrate this notion and to answer this question with the film trailer entitled Dorian Gray that we studied in

class, because even if the action takes place in the 19th century, the problems addressed are current. I've also chosen to

speak about the painting Echo and Narcissus by John William WATERHOUSE, because I’m sure it could help me to

answer the problematic. And both documents deal with the same subject.
