Hello dear readers,
Today I am going to speak you have a new film which has been just released, and met a lot of success. This film is "Lion" by Garth Davis and tells the true story of Saroo Brierley, a young and poor Indian child who took one day the wrong train and arrived at Calcutta, alone and without any way to come back. After a few months, he got adopted by Australian and began a new life. Become adult, he found his place of birth thanks to Google Maps and met his mother.
For my part, I think this is a very interesting movie. Indeed, it is like a detective film and we can consider it as an investigation, because Saroo had to find his fatherland with so few clues, and we see how, thinking always about the same clues during years and years, he finally resolved the mystery of his origins. But the difference between this case and Sherlock Holmes's ones in that here, the detective must investigate on himself. This is what makes this film so impressive, because the real topic is less the story of how Saroo got lost than the way he led his journey of redemption, finding himself and peace.
Dev Patel's portrayal of Saroo Brierley in Garth Davis' film "Lion" is a standout performance that showcases the actor's range and depth. The film required Patel to navigate a complex and emotionally charged journey. In an interview, Patel stated, "Playing Saroo was a true challenge for me as an actor, but also a deeply rewarding experience." The actor was able to bring Saroo's struggles and triumphs to life, delivering a powerful performance that was both nuanced and emotionally resonant. Patel also spoke highly of his experience working with director Garth Davis, saying, "Working with the talented director Garth Davis was also a highlight of my experience on 'Lion'. He brought a unique vision to the film and was able to bring out the best in the entire cast." Overall, Dev Patel's role in "Lion" is a testament to his acting abilities and his commitment to telling meaningful and impactful stories. The film is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love and family.
Bonjour chers lecteurs,
