Lettre d'un passager du Titanic

I’m traveling for two days aboard the boat “titanic”. The sheep is wonderful, she’s very very big. She’s the largest, bigger and faster ship of the time. She’s an astounding feat! She’s tall as eleven floor and very wide. It’s a big chance for me to travel on this ship. We are more than two thousand people aboard. There are a lot of room like ball rooms, lounges… except for the third-class. There are lot of floors, I’m immigrant so I’m in the lower parts, in the last floor. I’m with poor labourers and immigrants families.

Then, I’m in third-class so I don’t have many activities and occupations. The Turkish bath and other luxuries are restricted to the first class; so I spend lot of time to writing letter. I walk in the boat in order to meet people and talk with them. I met a French lady, she’s very nice. This is very fun to learn new language, I love that! For 2 days we speak about our family and our habits. But we are in the last floor, so it’s difficult to sleep because the ship pitch. I’m a bit sad to see the rich people have fun while I’m bored.

Finally, my goal it’s to make money in America and back home for have a better life London. When I will arrive in America I will find a job. I will work hard. In London we are poor people and I want it to change, for you my daughter. I’m sorry to leave you but it’s for us Marry. And of course, sorry for not to be here for 19 years but I love you so much.
