        Today, in our society, we can distinguish some « power » who have an incredible strengh on our world. One of them is name the fourht power. It’s the power of the press and the media. It means that, today, the press has a huge power in the society to change decision in political or religious or in every subject. It’s a the fourth power is associate with the legislative, executive and judicial power. The media has now an important place for all the subjects because today everybody read a newspapper or watch the TvNews. And the media now it thats why they diffuse information about the actuality. That’s why the fourth power is refer to the press because it’s a power who can change a judicial inquiry for exemple.

In England, there is a lot of important news paper and we can categorize two types of news papers. First we have the tabloids, a news paper for the popular readership, the tabloids talk about celebrities and some soft subjects. In contrary the second types of newspaper, the broadsheet are more qualitative and focus and the analyze of the news, In globally they talk about serious subjects.

In England, there is a lot of newspapper with political affiliation. For the tabloids we have The Sun who support the center left side politiqual and they are populist. The often publish some nudes pics. For the broadsheet, we have The Times who support the center right side and conservative. They globally talk about the political actuallity.

In parallel with this, we have the Internet who has a important effect on the press. Indeed the press can now diffuse her information on the Internet and with this the young people can now read the information easily because they can read what they what about any subjetcs. The Internet is very positive for the media they can now touch more people.

To realize all these article publish in the broadsheet, the newpapper employ embedded journalist. An embedded journalist is a personn who go in war zone or in a dangerous zone to transcribe what he see. This occupation is very dangerous because the jorunalist risk his life to recolt some information for his newpapper. He can be captured or be killed by rifle in the war zone. That’s the job of embedded journalist is dangerous but it very positive for the newpapper because we have a true testament of the life in the war zone or somewhere else.

In a other context, the press is very powerful on the public opinion because the media can add some fake news to make people angry or to change there political opinion. For exemple, a newspapper publish a story a murder and the accuse the landlord for that crime. Finnaly the justice prove the landlord was innocent but they have destroyed his life. Thta’s why the media are very powerful on the public opinion.

But sometimes the newspapper can publish some information that’s can hurt themselves. That’s the case of the news papper ‘the news of the world’ . In 2007 the newspapper has been accuse to hack voicemail of victims of murder. Later the police reaveal it was true and in 2011 the newspapper has shut down and the journalits who hack the voicemail and the director have been seal off.

As i’ve said above, the press has a huge impact on society and public opinion . Newspapper shape public opinion in many ways. But sometimes when the newpapper goes too deep they can hurt themselves and doing bad promotion for themeselves.
