Idee of progress: Does the progress of sciences rhyme with progress of consciences?

Introduction :

The progress  it's the goal of humanity. A universal goal, for example in the politic, every countries try to develop, in the economy, the technology, the research etc. But the progress is a personal intention to, for example when you are student, you want enrich what you know,  word progress in life. But in certain cases the progress it's relative.  

Problematic:

Does the progress of sciences rhyme with progress of consciences?

Announcement of the plan:

First we will talk about progress in medicine and in a second part evoke the evolution of military weapons.

1) 

The progress in medicine in the developed countries it's formidable when we know the means and the life expectancy of peoples in the past.  When you have this malady you take this medicament and when you have another malady you take another medicament etc. This render service to humanity. And there are always researches for find vaccines against other malady  like the SIDA for example. So this, go in the good direction mainly when these means are share worldwide.

2) 

But the progress of military weapons , share or not share go in a sense more questionable and open a debate. Because there are important things like the moral , the justice, the dignity and the human life that we must  not forget. For example in USA, a policeman who protect the population, who have weapons it's normal. But student like me, or younger than me, who have a gun  at school, we can say that there is a problem. Or again, with the new technology, an young american, who from a computer, with joystick pilots and controls a drone wish launch bombers at people like if it's a video game. So the moral, the dignity, the justice, and the respect of human life don't progress but on the contrary regress.

conclusion  

We can see the progress as a good thing like the medicine for example, because it can be a good thing , if we have conscience of risk that this can create. Because the conscience when it's not solicit, can in spate means of future, like the drone , return us in past errors. Because i think to the progress of sciences don't rime with progress of consciences. It's different things
