’m going to deal with the notion of progress .To begin, let’s define what progress is. The idea of progress is the idea of the whole of the advances in many fields like technology, science; quality of life for example, can make the world better. We can name several examples like internet, medicine, transports, social…The idea of progress has an important on our way to live.

However the development, Evolution may also have a negative aspect about the human.

One can wonder if we should have afraid of progress?

Firstly, I will focus on development of a better world thanks to social evolution, science and new technology. Secondly, I will show how its same developments can be negative for human from a document studied in class "brave new world" by Aldous Huxley.

One the one hand progress is associated with the idea of improvements, the prospects of a better of a better life. Progress may be medical, technological social… but today progress enable save human suffering from diseases. The technical progress that allows quick access to information, social networks thanks internet on the world. Moreover the social progress enables recognition in legislation the equality of man and women at work, women have rights like the right to vote, in many countries slavery was abolished as the united states, in France.... now that is considered against ethics.

One the other hand we can see that evolution may the Evolution can be negative for human. Therefore a new technology also has a negative aspect because of this people are victims of the Internet by example with persecution .Moreover countries like the united states looking to all controlled having access to our private information such as in our phone as well as science can be negative for human as we can see document brave new world by Aldous Huxley published almost 70 years .Huxley denounces the excess of science and according to this document can be afraid of progress because in the novel, babies aren’t created naturraly. They are made in labs raised in incubators .Ovus and Dna have been seen selected .If scientist did those experiments it would enables parents to have perfect babies .So those babies d would’nt have any identity
