I’m going to tell you a story about my favorite sport : handball.

In the first time, I’m going to give a definition of this notion : this is a game where we need to put the ball in the goal.

Right now, I’m going to explain what happens in this competition.

We can be 12 players : generally, we have 2 goaltenders and 10 players. In opposition, we have an opponent. Every equip wants to win and be the best. For that, we need to be very concentrate and have several years of practice.

At the beginning, the umpire brings forward both teams before spectators.

And then, you can start to play. Each team goes on its side. This is a wonderful sport because you are free : for example when there is a counterattack, we can run as fast as you can.

Handball match lasts sixty minutes. In sixty minutes, we must be the most strategic in order to knock out the opponents. But we need to be strong and mad to defend our cage. We can also make some mistakes on the player that can be put up with umpire. Sometimes a player gets hurt. In this case, he is pulled up.

In half time, we have a break of about ten minutes. This allows us to breathe and improve our game. The game remains and each of our players tries to get around the opponent.

At the end, we are exhausted but the spectators ablaud us.

This sport is very interessant and popular especially in Germany.
