Gun love

  1. The cover inspired me a novel about violence fight between two persons or group of persons represented by the two alligators. Also, the title Gun love can inform us about a love story with the opposition “gun” which represents violence and “love” which represents affection and passion

  1. Yes, at one side we. Got the love between the mother and the daughter in their own world (the car) and at the other side outside a violent world (Florida) with gun owners, hunted alligators, danger.
  1. The first character Pearl field worried not understanding she seems afraid and the second character the mother seems more confident protected by the gun and his owner also manipulating her. This extract deal with a dialogue between Pearl and Margot their mother, this one who received a gun from who’s seems be her boyfriend as a present and she’s learning to her daughter how to use it.
  1. A)  There, what Margot trying to say to her daughter is that she uses the gun for good reasons.

B) For her the gun is a protection to the environment, where they are living.

C) In her opinion, they could be a target and some day in danger, so this gun is a necessity.

  1. With this text the author tries to alert people about the situation of the USA about gun seller and owners. She wants to show trough the character of Pearl, who’s young, homeless and only have her mother how the easy accessibility of gun can be dangerous for everybody include young people, kids and teenagers she advocates here the legal wear of guns, sale of them and bad consequences. For example, there are many students who sometimes shoot on their school and kills people or themselves. This novel tries to change people way of thinking about the culture of guns.
