SUJET 1 :
We are in England at Gael Harrison's house in the dining room for the dinner with his father, his mother and his 3 brothers. She brought them all together to tell them something important : This may change their daily lives!
They eat the pudding when Gael took the floor :
“Dad Mom, I have something important to tell you” said Gael.
“Yes my darling ? “ said his father.
“As you know, I’m sad, I'm sick of seeing the same things all the time, the same routine of life, to find myself behind my computer and many other things. So I decided to leave” she said.
All the family looks at each other but no dares speak.
“Say something” said Gael sadly !
“ But… You want to leave where? In france at the furthest ! No ??” Said his mother.
“I'm sorry Mom, but no I do not leave in France” said Gael shyly !
“Where are you going ?” said his father.
“Very cool ! We will be quiet of her !” said Paul his brother proudly.
“You will not miss me !!” said Gael.
The family was afraid of their daughter's response.
“Mom Dad, I'm going to Vietnam ! I will go to work for SCF it’s : Save the Children Fund UK. As Preschool Teacher Trainer and my job was to assist teachers to vietnamese as a second language in Quang Ninh Province, northeast of hanoi” said Gael.
“WHAT ? in Vietnam ? But you're crazy, You're not going to get away with it alone !” said his mother loudly.
(She began to mumble ) “But I do not care what you think” Said Gael.
“But you're right gael! It's a good adventure” Said his father.
Her mother no longer wanted to see her. If she left she no longer wants to see. But the rest of her family will support her until she leaves.
SUJET 2 :
“Today, thousands of people are traveling to destinations such as Australia, New Zealand and Thailand for months on end, traveling with relative comfort and ease. Today, a gap year can be anywhere, for any length of time, doing anything you want.” This passage from an Anglo-Saxon newspaper we perfectly introduces the gap years. And we will be able to answer the following question : Do you think that nowadays it is necessary to have a work experience abroad ?
In a first time I would talk about the advantages and in a second step of the negative points.
Taking a gap year is a great way to reassess your life and to figure out where you’re going, will help improve your communication skills, your decision making and your ability to build relationships but still Discover a hidden passion, Have fun and make lasting friendships. You’ll be an active member of a community teaming up with local professionals and networking with other Fellows, we then meet full of new worlds ! We can fulfill our dream of going to the USA for exemple. Many students take the year to tackle challenges they’ve set for themselves, step out of their comfort zone, face their fears and enjoy new experiences so we evolve we grow up and we have more luck in our higher education. On the contrary for some students, a year off can be a refreshing break that helps you get into the swing of things in university. However, it also takes you away from the classroom experience, so you might be a bit rusty when you return. Are we mature enough ? Are we ready to leave everything ? So many unanswered questions.
