The a of these apps is to detect sick people/warn people in case they have been in contact with someone infected from COVID-19. You have to dowload the app so that it can contact you if neccesary. There are controversies about these apps because a few people have downlolaed it in France.

The several articles shed light on the limits of those applications. people are getting more and more skeptical/suspicious/worried/ insecure about the ones in power/governement.

Besides, in China some people were wrongly given the red color-which stands for infected with covid-19 while they weren’t sick at all.
