There was no parallel in modern American history, as insurgents acting with the president’s encouragement vandalized Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, smashing windows, looting art. hundreds of people in the mob barreled past fence barricades outside the Capitol and clashed with officers.

The capitol was put under lockdown, the senators and deputies then took refuge in the rooms of the capitol, whereas that others tried to escape out of the capitol by underground passages.

In order to stop the riots, the law enforcement, National Guard and the FBI was deployed. using flash grenades and tear gas to fight the invaders.

Moreover, Mr. Biden, in his own remarks, demanded that Mr. Trump intervene to tamp down an “unprecedented assault” on democracy. He called for a televised address by Mr. Trump to “fulfill his oath and defend the Constitution and demand an end to this siege.”

After several hours of confrontation the consequences were tragic, a woman was shot dead inside the capitol, three others died from injuries and many policemen were hospitalized.
