Biographie de J.K Rowling

J.K Rowling is a famous escritor, especially for her Harry Potter literary saga.

The parents of J.K Rowling, Anne Volant and Pete Rowling met on the King's Cross train.
Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born on July 31 1965 in Yate in the west of England, her parents would have preferred to have a boy with the name « Simon John». With her sister, she has had a difficult enfance mainly by the privations that her parents made, like making her look like a boy when Rowling was little. But unlike her sister, Joanne was a disappointment to their parents.

In her bachelor's degree, she generally chose languages subjects such as English, French and German, where she achieved good results in her final exams.

She obtained the idea of Harry Potter in 1990 during a train delay of Manchester in London. Six months later, Anne Rowling dies on december 30 1990 because of her multiple sclerosis. It was very difficult for the author, especially since she was not close to her father. The death of her mom had a big impact on Harry Potter's writing.

She's going to live in Portugal for the job of english teacher. In October 1992, Rowling married Jorge Arantes, then had a girl in 1993 with the name «Jessica». But her husband is violent with her, she is victim of domestic violence, and the couple separated in 1994.

Rowling returned in United Kingdom with her daugther. It was a difficult period, because Rowling was unemployed, she and her daughter lived with the help of the government. Joanne was in a big deppression at this time.

In 1995, in Edinburgh, J.K Rowling found solace in writing of Harry Potter. She decided to resume teaching but this time to teach French to children. Then she finished her first volume of a book saga «Harry Potter and the philospher's stone». Her book has been rejected many times by different publishers, but later on june 26 1997 her book was published and it was a succesful. Then other chapters were published, and J.K Rowling became a rich and famous woman escritor. In October 2010 she is named "most influential woman in Britain" .

Today, she still writes and lives quietly in Perthshire.
