Barack Hussein Obama II, been born on August 4th, 1961 in Honolulu (Hawaii), is an American statesman. He is the 44th president of the United States, according to January 20th, 2009 on January 20th, 2017
Son of a black Kenyan and an American white with Kansas of Irish origin, he is raised during several years in Indonesia. University graduate Columbia of New York and the faculty of law of Harvard, he is, in 1990, the first Afro-American to chair prestigious Harvard Law Review. Having been a social worker in the south districts of Chicago during 1980s, then lawyer in civil law at its exit of Harvard, it teaches the constitutional law to the university of Chicago from 1992 till 2004.
Barack Obama succeeds then the republican senator taking out Peter Fitzgerald. He takes the oath as senator January 4th, 2005, becoming the only man of color to sit in the Senate, and the fifth of him histoire39. He resigns from his senator's post on November 16th, 2008, after his election in the presidency of the United States.
His route aroused at the voter's as in the media of the whole world a big interest. His presidency intervenes in a war context in Iraq, of war in Afghanistan, crisis in the Middle East, important recession of the American economy and the world financial and economic crisis. On October 9th, 2009, he receives the Nobel Peace Prize.
He promulgates an economic stimulus plan, sets up the renewal of authorization of the insurances-unemployments and the job creations, that on the protection of the patients and the affordable care as well as the reform of the financial regulation in 2010. In the field of the foreign policy, he removes gradually the American troops of Iraq, increases those present in Afghanistan and sign a treaty of arms control
During its second mandate, Barack Obama tries to promote a greater control of firearms, shoot in a better integration of the LGBT and in a successful constitutional gratitude of the marriage between someones of the same sex. In foreign policy, he orders a military intervention in Iraq and in Syria against the Islamic State, finishes the process of retreat of the American strengths of Afghanistan. He ratifies besides the agreement of Paris on the climate, reaches an agreement on Iranian nuclear power and normalizes the American relations with Cuba. His last months of presidency are marked by an increasing popularity, with a majority of opinions favorable to the national level.
